Gabe Recchia

gabriel_and_catGabriel Recchia received his PhD in Cognitive Science from Indiana University in 2012, and is now a research associate at the Centre for Digital Knowledge at Cambridge University. Games he has designed include Dreamkindlers, Wordbots, Auditivity, and others that can be seen here. His interests include digital tools that facilitate informal learning practices, ways in which games can facilitate reflective experiences that provide opportunities for personal growth, the use of games as platforms for scientific research, and computational models of aspects of human cognition. He is also interested in games that support mindfulness, emotional intelligence, and healthful behaviors.
